10 recipes to keep face clear and glowing

A beautiful and clear face is something every woman desires to have. There are no shortcuts but a right diet and nutrients can help a lot to clear the dark spots and rough, uneven or dull areas of face. Leading actresses and models follow diet plans and insist on more natural diet than junk food. If you follow few simple remedies and stick to them for few weeks or months, getting a clear skin will become an easy task. Here's what you can do to keep your face and skin youthful:

1. Tomato soup: Tomatoes are rich in antioxidants, folic acid, vitamins A and C etc. These help in the formation of new blood cells by increasing the blood platelets. Squeeze out pulp of 2 red tomatoes, remove the seeds and skin. Now add one forth of water and black salt as per taste. Warm the mixture and drink it by taking small sips. Continue this practice for a month or 2. This will keep face clear. Recently tomatoes have been listed as one of the world's healthiest foods which lower the risk of various cancers

2. Mix juices of orange, carrot and beetroot in equal quantities. Prepare 1 glass of juice and drink. This keeps face clear and glowing, treats acne and pimples, etc. When 1 glass juice is taken for 2 months, an improvement in facial complexion is easily visible.

3. Add milk to diet. Cow's milk is a super source of essential nutrients. It improves immunity and helps in treating various skin and facial problems. A glass of milk with 4-6 cloves of garlic crushed and boiled in a milk obtained from cow when taken every morning and evening keeps face not only clear but brings shine and glow back on dull  face also.

4. Indian gooseberry or Amla is believed to be a rich source of vitamin C, A and various essential minerals like magnesium and potassium. Take 1/2 to 1 Kg of gooseberries. Remove the seeds and make holes in the eatable part with the help of toothpick. Dip all the gooseberries in a jar filled filled with honey. Every morning take 1 gooseberry out and empty stomach by chewing it slowly. This not only keeps face clear but also improves eyesight, digestion, immunity and facial glow.

5. Onions are rich in zinc and other important nutrients. Among different varieties of onion, white colored onion is the richest in nutrients. Take 1 onion. Remove the outer peels to get white onion bulb. Dip this bulb completely in honey before sleeping. Next morning, take out the bulb and remove the peels and chew every single peel of the bulb slowly. This purifies the blood stream and makes pure blood available for flow inside body and facial nerves. 

6. In winters, 4-6 petals of saffron dipped in warm milk when drunk clears facial spots and dullness. This improves facial complexion and protects from cold in winters also.

7. A pinch of dried ginger and 1 tea spoon of butter made from cow's milk when poured in warm milk, stirred and drunk does the same work as the above remedy.

8. If one's face is dull, lacks glow or looks pale, then every day drink 2.5 kg of pure cow's milk. Boil the milk till its quantity is reduced to 3/4th of its original quantity. Add 6 cashew nuts when it gets warm. Practicing it for at least 2 months makes face clear and glowing. Its is one of the frequently tested remedies on people with dull faces. Best results can be seen if tried in winters.

9. 1 table spoon of aloe-vera juice, 1 table spoon of tomato juice and half tea spoon lemon juice can be taken with luke warm water or can be applied on face for improving facial clearness and wrinkles.
This supplements essential nutrients for channelizing the flow of blood in facial nerves.

10. A mix of apple juice, papaya juice (both taken in equal quantities), 1 tea spoon of lemon juice and a pinch of black salt ,when taken every day makes skin and face clear. The results can be visible within a week to 2.5 months.
